The MorphixBase module can be located in the /base/morphix file on any Morphix iso. Together with the boot.img (or isolinux files in the future) it provides a minimal system with: booting, loading of lkm, hardwaredetection, (displaying a list of multiple and) mounting of MainModules.

Essentially the /base/morphix file is a slimmed down KNOPPIX iso with a huge number of modifications. LKM's and a number of files are available for use by the MainModule. From the MainModule, you can enter the base module by /MorphixCD (badly named), or by entering 'exit' from the first console screen, dropping you to the base module level.
