[Debian] is a Linux distribution, with an emphasis on "militantly free software" and ease of maintenance. They get some flak for their install difficulties (it's getting better, but there are many other distributions with friendlier get-up-to-speed procedures) but their apt-get utility and its various frontends such as aptitude make system maintenance a breeze==== ====

Morphix is based on Knoppix which is based on Debian.
